MORDRAGA LLC is the Russian subsidiary of the DEME Group. The history of the DEME Group began with the founding of a small dredging company that was fully involved in the maintenance and capital dredging along the Belgian coast in 1875. In Russia its roots are dated back into to the beginning of the 20th century and are associated with Ackermans & van Haaren. At that time, Ackermans & van Haaren was already active as dredging company whereby nowadays they are the principal shareholder of DEME.Today DEME is a global multi-disciplinary group that employs more than 4,600 people. DEME has projects across the world and can rely on a dredging fleet consisting of about 100 main vessels and a wide range of supporting equipment. In 2014, at Group level, a turnover amounting to 2 586.9 billion EUR was generated.LLC Mordraga has significant experience in the execution of dredging, land reclamation and hydraulic engineering construction works. The geography spread of Mordraga’s works in Russia covers various regions of the country - from projects in Sochi (the Black Sea) to Ust-Luga (the Baltic Sea) and Sabetta (Arctic – Yamal peninsula).
