    Russia. OZK negotiates a possibility to build grain terminal in the Baltic Sea

    "United Grain Company" considers a possibility of building the specialized grain terminal in the Baltic Sea Basin. Currently, the negotiations are hold on possibilities of locating the terminal in Bronka (St. Petersburg) or in Primorsk port, reports UkrAgroConsult.

    Specialized grain terminal in the Baltics can appear not earlier than in 5 years, as so much time is required for its design and construction. At the same time, grain market conditions are favorable for creating a grain terminal in the Baltics.

    As a reminder, JSC "OZK" manages 19 elevators with a total capacity of 2 MMT, 7 processing enterprises with a capacity of 1.6 MMT and 3 port elevators with a throughput capacity of 5.3 MMT per year in 18 regions of Russian Federation, including one of the largest in the country enterprises for port handling - PJSC "Novorossiysk grain plant".
