The conference takes place amid many exciting and significant developments in the shipping and insurance markets, in particular affecting the Russian sphere.Just a short time ago, an important new National Shipping Chamber was established in Russia through the merger of the Association of Shipping Companies and the Union of Russian Shipowners, with 110 Russian businesses, covering some 21m dwt, as initial members.
