MARACAD Conference and Expo returns to Dubai once again this year, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Development Infrastructure and Chairman of the Board of Directors Federal Transport Authority – Land and Maritime, will take place on 30th – 31st of October at Dubai World Trade Centre with a level support from high International Organizations, to witness a new partnership between the leaders of the governmental and private maritime industry, maritime experts, as well as the non-governmental organizations, maritime academics, developers of marine technologies, ship owners, port-operators, shipping companies, maritime law and business consultancy offices.
The continued interest of UAE in the development of the Maritime Industry, compliance with international standards and the urgent need to represent the UAE to the IMO Executive Council to help a build strong long-term strategy to represent the region’s leaders to develop a mechanism for regulations and practices relating to human capital. The global maritime mechanism implemented by the leaders and professionals of the maritime sector will highlight the UAE’s leadership in the marine sector globally.
In this year’s edition, the MARACAD Conference & Exhibition focuses on the support of Human Capital and professional leaders in terms of “Education and Training”, specifically in marine law research, business administration & maritime trade, as well as the developments and standards for vessel architecture. The second day is particularly unique to technology and innovation in the maritime sector.
