  • Ust-Luga Container Terminal

    National Container Company is the investor and owner of the Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT). The first container ship at the terminal was handled on December 29, 2011. The ULCT construction is carried out in three phases. The ULCT Phase 1 capacity is 440,000 TEUs. The total area of the container terminal is 40 ha, the total berth length is 440 m with water depths - 13.5 m. The storage yard capacity is 15,000 TEUs, for reefer containers – 2,000 TEUs. ULCT’s feet of handling equipment consists of four Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes for handling Panamax ships, eleven Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes at the warehouse and two Rail Mounted Gantry (RMG) cranes. The NCC investment program is aimed at increasing the facility capacity up to 2.85 million TEUs.
