Toll acquires two companies in Australia and New Zealand
Toll Holdings has reached an agreement on the purchase of West Australia-based Courier Australia. With a strong regional network in Western Australia, the acquisition of Courier Australia will add scale to some of Toll’s existing courier and express businesses and boost its presence in the region.
Toll Holdings has also signed a conditional purchase agreement for the business of United Carriers.
The acquisition of the Northland trucking company will expand Toll’s New Zealand business into Northland, where Toll previously had a limited presence.
United Carriers has a fleet of 220 trucks, and an annual turnover of approximately NZ$50 million.
