NYK Logistics (Americas) has acquired Bruni International, a Laredo, Texas-based customs brokerage, freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution services company.
The purchase comprises all Bruni assets, including offices and warehouse facilities located in the Killam Industrial Park.
The US Customs bonded facility is both ISO 9002 and C-TPAT certified.
Bruni International was founded as a sole proprietorship in 1982 by E M (Rocky) Bruni, who has now joined NYK Logistics as a senior vice president and will also manage the integration of the two companies.
