OOCL adds Gothenburg to SBX2 service

OOCL's Scan Baltic Express service will start calling at Gothenburg next month. Due to increasing customer support, OOCL has announced that its weekly Scan Baltic Express (SBX2) service will start making direct calls in Gothenburg from March 18th.
The direct call in Gothenburg will improve transit times and schedule reliability for cargo imported into Sweden from Asia, Australia and North America, which is relayed in Hamburg.
There will also be export opportunities for containers from Gothenburg to be carried to Klaipeda (Lithuania), and St Petersburg (Russia).
The revised SBX2 port rotation will be: Hamburg > Gothenburg > Klaipeda > St Petersburg > Rauma > Gavle > Hamburg on a fourteen-day schedule.
The SBX2 service will continue to deploy the two 868 TEU vessels - OOCL Neva and OOCL Narva.
