Russia to complete accession to International Transport Convention COTIF in late 2009 - RZD The procedure of Russia’s accession to International Transport Convention COTIF will be completed in late 2009, Boris Lapidus, Senior Vice President of Russian Railways OJSC told at the conference “Cooperation of railway and maritime transport in the Baltic region” held in Kaliningrad on February 26. The accession will contribute to considerable increase of railway cargo flow between Europe and CIS via Kaliningrad transport hub.
