RLS and STS Logistics announce merger RLS and STS Logistics are reported to be close to finalising an agreement to merge, creating one of the biggest independent logistics companies in Russia with an annual turnover of over USD 300mn (EUR 237.71mn).
Both companies work in complementary business sectors, as RLS focuses on FMCG logistics within Russia, while STS specialises in international, multimodal freight, for a wide range of sectors including automotive and construction. The merger is due to be finalised before the end of March 2009, Logistics Finland reports according to RZD-Partner.
