Central Energy Customs (CEC), authorized to carry out control and clearance of onboard fuel stores, has banned bunker fuel supply to tankers at offshore anchorage in the ports of Novorossiysk and Tuapse as of September 12, representatives of bunker suppliers’ community of the Black Sea ports told Portnews.
The bunkering operations are allowed only at an offshore single point mooring (SPM) No 1A and 1B of Rosneft’s terminal at the port of Tuapse and at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in Novorossiysk. The PortNews’ sources noted that the ban does not include refueling of dry bulk vessels at offshore bunkering locations.
