Bunkering restrictions of Central Energy Customs contradict legislation, Prosecutor’s office says

The requirements of the Central Energy Customs of the Russian Federation (CEC) restricting bunkering activities in Russian ports contradict provisions set forth by the customs legislation of the Customs Union and other rulings and legislative instruments of the Russian Federation. This conclusion was obtained by the Russian Association of Marine and River Bunker Suppliers from the Moscow Interregional transport prosecutor's office, the Association says.

The response received by the Association also contains confirmation of detected violations by CEC Chief. In this respect, a submission was made to eliminate discovered violations of the legislation.
