Transoil's products rail traffic to Azov-Black Sea based ports rises 13% to 7.5 million tonnes

Shipments of TRANSOIL's oil product and LPG to the ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin in January-June 2014 grew by 13% from H1 2013 to 7.5 million tonnes, the rail operator said in a press release.

In the first six months of the year Transoil transported by its own and chartered fleet of oil tank cars to the near-dock stations about 12.5% of the total volume of liquid cargo moved to the Azov-Black Sea based ports.

Light oil in Transoil's product shipments to the southern region's ports accounts for about 28%, LPG shipments – some 0.04% and the remaining volume accounts for dark oil products.

Nearly 67% of all Transoil products were transported to the port of Novorossiysk and 15% - to the ports of Tuapse and Taman.
