RF Transport Ministry forecasts throughput of Russian ports to hit 620 mln t this year

Throughput of Russian ports to hit 620 mln t in 2014, IAA PortNews reporter cites RF Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov as saying at the VIII International Forum and Exhibition “Transport of Russia” being held in Moscow.

Transportation by main railway lines is expected to reach 1.2 bln t.

The Minister also said the H1’14 export of transport services increased over 3.5% to $9 bln.
