World's largest container vessel MSC OSCAR calls at seaport Posyet

On 12 January 2015 MSC OSCAR containership with the capacity of 19 224 TEU called at Slavyanka marine terminal of Posyet Seaport for bunkering, says press center of FSUE Rosmorport.

The Far Eastern Basin Branch fully provided the safety of the containership port call. In particular, operators of the Regional VTS of the Peter the Great Bay provided navigation assistance to MSC OSCAR on the approaches to the marine terminal and in its waters, whereas the pilots of the Far Eastern Basin Branch provided pilotage and helped to moor the vessel at a roads station.
The largest containership of the world MSC OSCAR was built at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering shipyard (South Korea) by order of Mediterranean Shipping Company and was delivered to the client on 08 January 2015.
