The project of Sukhodol terminal in the Primorsk Territory has obtained the state environmental expert approval. As IAA PortNews was informed by the Project investor Siberian Business Union, the Project has also been approved by the Public Institute of Ecological Appraisal. Moreover, the Project documents have been submitted to RF State Expert Evaluation Department.
The terminal is intended for coal exports to the Asia-Pacific region: Korea, India, China, Japan. The first phase with the capacity of 6 mln t per year is to be put into operation in July 2017. The second and the third phases are to make the terminal fully operational in 2019-2021.
