Water storage basin Tsimlyanskoye will be poorly filled in 2015, IAA PortNews journalist cites Natalya Samoletova, head of Rostov region’s HydroMetCenter, as saying at the joint meeting of the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency and the Federal Agency for Water Resources. 

As of today, water level at Tsimlyanskoye basin is 31.78 m (58% of the full basin). 

It is the second year in a row to see lack of water resulting in low level at Tsimlyanskoye basin. 

According to Yevgeny Dorozhkin, acting head of Don Basin Authority, water inflow in 2014 totaled 12.4 cbm, 58% of the norm (21.3 cbm).
