NCSP Group’s assets insurance valued by RESO-Garantia at 6.6 billion rubles

RESO-Garantia, an insurance company won bidding for a contract announced by Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP JSC), Novorossiysk Grain Terminal (NGT), IPP JSC to insure its portfolio of assets. The portfolio of insurance was totaled some 6.6 billion rubles, including property insurance – at 6.5 billion rubles, hazardous industrial facilities – at 60 million rubles, as well as accident and health insurance for each of 52 NCSP’s rescuers was valued at 770.000 rubles. The insurance contract was signed for a year term, RESO-Garantia press office said.

The RESO-Garantia office said it had previously insured some of the NCSP Group’s assets, its special equipment and vehicles.

RESO-Garantia is a universal company offering its clients a wide range of services, such as an automobile insurance (Casco and OSAGO), health insurance, property insurance (including real estate), liability and freight insurance.

Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port is Russia's largest port operator. In 2009 freight shipment volume via NCSP’s terminals totaled 86.519.400 tons. The NCSP Group incorporates Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port JSC, Novorossiysk Grain Terminal JSC, Novorossiysk Shipyard JSC, NCSP Fleet, Novoroslesexport, IPP JSC and Baltic Stevedoring Company.
