Primorsky patrol guard detects smuggling traffic of Chinese goods Border guard of the Border Directorate of the Russian FSB in Primorsky Territory detected a smuggling transit traffic of consumer goods from China through the territory of Russia to the Republic of Korea, "Vostok-Media" RIA reports citing the press office of the regional FSB Border Directorate. A border patrol found while checking a 40-foot container from China crossing a Kraskino international automobile checkpoint undeclared 119 bales of clothing and footwear disguised in the cargo of construction plastic.
In another case that occurred at Zarubino – seaport, an international maritime checkpoint, border guard patrol, together with the Interior Ministry police, found hidden rolls of fabric (740 pieces), packed in polyethylene.
In both cases, the Border Directorate press office said, a Dong Chong Chinese firm of Hunchun (PRC) was responsible and the recipient – a South Korean Dong Chun Ferry Co. Ltd in the city of Sokcho.
Maritime Transport Economic Crimes department of Vladivostok began conducting investigation into the smuggling case.
