According to Kaliningrad Railroad (KR, “KZD”, a branch of Russian Railways) press service Sergei Ordenko was appointed the chief of the regional Customs Management office. Mr. Ordenko earlier headed the KR department of freight traffic customs and brokerage services.

The regional Customs Management office is tasked to cut losses the Russian Railways bears while exported commodities pass via Kaliningrad customs clearance and border controls procedure. The office should also lessen possible risks in deals and implementation of such transactions with foreign partners.

The Kaliningrad office will be as well providing consulting service for the businesses engaged in export and import trade to comply with the requirements of Customs Code of Russia, the Customs Code of the Customs Union and the Federal Customs Service regulations on customs clearance.
