Tander CJSC (Krasnodar), an operating company of "Magnet" retail network plans building and opening a logistics center in the Tambov region. The project cost will be at 500 million rubles, RZD-Partner.ru agency reported citing Vasily Prokhorov, the deputy chief of regional management for the development of industry and enterprises speaking at a press conference with journalists

The logistic complex of area of 26.500 sq. m. has being built in the village of Streltsy. The logistics facility is scheduled to start operating in Q4 this year calendar year.

"The logistics center, which has its own transport, will provide logistics services for 12 neighboring regions. The center includes a facility set that will process agricultural products, selecting, sorting and packing vegetables and fruits, produced in the region. It also will have facilities stretching on 8.000 sq. m., with refrigerators for storage of livestock products,” Vasily Prokhorov said.

Thunder CJSC founded in 1994 is currently operating a network of "Magnet" stores spread across the country, the Russia's largest company by number of sales. The company also manages its own logistics network, numbering 9 distribution centers and automobile park.
