7 rail cars derailed at East-Siberian station, oil spills

On Sunday, February 7, 2010, 6:32 (Moscow time) at the Chelutay station of East-Siberian Railway (a branch of Russian Railway) 7 freight trains cars were reported derailed, the press center of FE Railroad reported adding the traffics reopened on February 8 at 2:10 am (MT).

Meanwhile, Radio Mayak reports, at least ten tons of oil carried by the train tanks leaked onto the ground from three tanks. Emergency teams have been working at the scene.
