First Cargo Company (FCC JSC) has signed a contract with Agrofertrans LTD (United Kingdom), a leading international trader of mineral fertilizers for transportation via the West-Siberian Railroad some 70.000 tons of mineral fertilizers this year. In the framework of the contract by the FCC’s Novosibirsk branch has already shipped to Vietnam through the port of Nakhodka about 7 tons of the cargo and ensured freight forwarding services, the railway operator statement said.

According to Vadim Golov who manages building and chemical industry department in the FCC’s Novosibirsk, the British trader uses laminated plastic packages for mineral fertilizers transportation. That considerably reduced the time for the shipper and the carrier spent for handling the bulk cargo, as well as ensured its safe shipment.
