Kamchatka reefer “Tavria" with 15 crew members is drifting in the ice field in the Litke Strait, 25 km west of the village of Ossora of Koryak district. The ship has a 20-day stock of food, water and fuel, Interfax agency reports citing regional Kamchatka Emergency Ministry.

The ship’s captain does not ask for help, the report said, as it was not ice-bound. Nevertheless, if the vessel is not able to get out of the ice trap, the emergency Rubin rescue boat will be ready to help, the Emergency office said.
