Volumes of MSC down by 2%, to 10.2 million TEUs in 2009The volume of container traffic by the Swiss Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) in 2009 decreased year-over-year by 2%, totaled 10.289.000 TEUs, the company statement said.
This early 2010 MSC fleet is 378 ships of a total capacity of 1.490.310 TEUs. In early 2009 the MSC’s fleet comprised 419 container vessels carrying 1.46 million TEUs.
