Baltic Coal Terminal shows a record, 79.000 tons of coal Baltic Coal Terminal, a Latvia’s stevedoring company, transshipping coal in the port of Ventspils, handled 79.142 tones of transit coal, a record volume of the company, RZD-Partner.Ru reports citing the BCT statement.
The coal cargo delivered by rail from the Mira mine (Russia) was loaded onto TENSHIN MARU for further export to the port of Antwerp.
Baltic Coal Terminal, a closed terminal, was launched in March 2009. Investments in construction amounted to 78 million euros.
