Crude oil, LNG volumes via Prigorodnoye Port reach 1.5 m tones this January

Shipments of crude oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) through the port Prigorodnoye (Sakhalin) in January 2010 totaled 1.5 million tons, Vesti (News) TV channel reports.

The Port Authority statement said, this early year 21 vessels were loaded at the port’s berths, including seven tankers and 14 LPG carriers. The January figures provided for 2010 volume forecast at more than 15 million tons of crude oil and LNG through Prigorodnoye terminal.

An earlier report said the first at Prigorodnoye LNG carrier berthed on February 18, last year and shipped LNG cargo for export.
