Oil volumes to Ukrainian refineries up 12.8%, to 959.100 tons

Crude oil supplies to Ukrainian refineries has increased in January 2010 by 12.8% compared with January 2009, up to 959.100 tons, and a 13.7 percent rise over December 2009. At the same time, volumes of vacuum gasoil this early year dropped by 84.5 percent from December 2009, to 10.400 tons, "The Transport Business" reports.

Deliveries by Ukrainian oil shippers rose 3.2% against December figures to 184.600 tons. Russia's oil supply to Ukraine in January increased by 23.4% as compared to December 2009, reaching 544.000 tons. Russia exported crude oil to Lisichansky and Odessa refineries.

In January, all Ukrainian refineries have seen production output drop by 7.9% (vs December numbers), at 944.700 tons.

As earlier repots said, in December 2009 oil deliveries to Ukrainian refineries declined by 22.1 percent from with November last year, to 843.400 tons. In 2009 overall volumes of crude oil to Ukrainian refineries totaled 9.682.600 tons, a year-on-year 2.8% reduction.
