A Sakhalin Border Guard patrol spotted and detained yesterday a Cambodia-flagged fishing boat in the Tatar Strait in the territorial waters of Russia. The ship was carrying some 15 tons of illegally caught crab, Federal Press RIA reports citing Russian FSB Sakhalin Border Control Coast Guard office.

The detained fishing boat had 14 crew members on board, Russians and Ukrainians. The ship’s home port - Phnom Penh, the agency said.
