The port’s loading berths facilities are intended for handling bulked cargoes (mineral fertilizers, concentrates of various ores, grain) as well as general, timber, and containerized commodities. In 2009 shipment volumes via the port of Kavkaz reached 8.1 million tons and 2.500 ships were handled at the port.
