Port of Temruk posts a 12.74% drop, at 166.360 tons for this January

Commodities volumes at the Port of Temryuk this January dropped by 12.74 percent from to the same period of 2009, to 166.360 tons,  PortNews IAA reports.

According statistics posted by RosMorPort’s Taman branch the port exported 5.377 tons of timber, 9.394 tons of chemicals, 129.309 tons of general cargoes, 20.820 tons of grain and 1.456 tons of fertilizers.

Maktren-Nafta Ltd. terminal handled 10.917 tons of LNG in the reporting period.

Temryuk seaport is located on the Taman shore of the Azov Sea. The port maintains and operates its 1200-m-length berths with loading facilities. In 2009 the port authorities reported 2.1 million tons of handled volumes, a 8.2 percent drop from 2008.
