As the Vladivostok station is to be closed from February 24th this year authorities establish a new scheme of transportation of passengers and cargoes from piers N1 and N2, said Igor Khrushchev, the Director of the Department of Industry and Transport of the Primorsky Territory Administration.

Besides, an additional floating pier for passenger and freight ships will be installed near the "Red Pennant” ship-museum.

The Vladivostok authorities have planned to build at the former pier N36 a 5-star hotel for APEC Summit to be held in Vladivostok in 2012.
