Construction and renovation project for 8 marine terminals sea at the port of Sochi (Imeretinka, Adler, Kurgorodok, Hosta, Matsesta, Dagomys, Loo, Lazarevskoe) is scheduled to be completed in the 1st quarter of 2013,  the Sochi branch of Rosmorport statement said.

On February 17 this year Glavgosekspertiza, Russian State Expert Evaluation agency approved, the statement said, the 8-terminal project.

Inzhtransstroy Corporation Ltd. is the general designer of the project.  Marine Transport Projects LLC, Institute IMIDIS CJSC, RosIntekCo Ltd., Center For Vehicle Safety Systems LLC also contributed to the project design.

The project includes construction of 3 new marine terminals in Imeretinka, Matsesta and Dagomys, as well as reconstruction of the 5 existing terminals in Adler, Kurgorodok, Khosta, Lazarevskoye and Loo.

The project would restore passenger service along the Black Sea coast, help boost tourism industry in the Krasnodar region, and improve transport links between coastal inhabited districts. The project is funded in the framework of the Federal program of Olympic objects construction and development of Sochi as a mountain resort.
