    Throughput of Big Port St. Petersburg in 2015 fell by 16% to 51.51 mln t

    In 2015, Big Port St. Petersburg handled 51.51 mln t of cargo (-16%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, transshipment of oil products fell by 33% to 9.58 mln t, mineral fertilizers – climbed by 3% to 7.8 mln t, ferrous metal – up 6% to 4.7 mln t, scrap metal – down 8% to 2.06 mln t.

    The port’s container throughput dropped by 27.8% to 1.71 mln TEUs.

    In 2014, the port handled 61.17 mln t of cargo, its container throughput was 2.37 mln TEUs.
