  Перенос интермодального терминала из центра Гётеборга (Швеция) в порт запланирован на 2018 год (фото)

  Гётерборг планирует переместить грузовой терминал, расположенный в центральной части города, в порт Гётеборг. В сообщении портовой администрации отмечается, что это позволит перевозит больше грузов железной дорогой и снимет нагрузку с автотранспорта и городских дорог.

  Перенос интермодального терминала начнется в начале 2018 года позволит осуществить план развития городского центра Гетеборга. Согласно соглашению между городом Гётеборг и транспортным агентством Швеции (Trafikverket) терминал будет перемещен в район Аркеном рядом с Ro-Ro терминалом в порту Гётеборг.
  
  В среднем пропускная способность терминала составляет 12 железнодорожных составов и 200 грузовиков. Помимо рейсов внутри страны, от терминала оправляются составы в различные пункты назначения по всей Европе. В течение года, на интермодальном терминале около 70 тыс. контейнеров-прицепов переносятся с одного вида транспорта на другой.

  Помимо работы интермодального терминала сейчас здесь осуществляется перевалка и складирование других грузов, включая древесину и бумагу, которые доставляются железнодорожным транспортом. Эти операции прекратятся 31 марта 2017 года.
  
  Перенос операций на новое место будет происходить одновременно с закрытием действующего терминала. Интермодальный терминал в настоящее время находится в управлении Green Cargo. Пока не решен вопрос, кто будет оператором терминала после переезда в порт.

  Порт Гетеборг является крупнейшим портом в скандинавском регионе, в котором в год регистрируется 11 тыс. судозаходов. Через порт переваливается 30% внешнеторговых грузов Швеции, а также 60% всех контейнерных грузов. В порту есть терминалы для перевалки нефтепродуктов, автомобилей, Rо-Rо и контейнерных грузов и пассажирские терминалы. Гетеборг - единственный шведский порт способный принимать самые большие в мире контейнеровозы работающих на международных океанских линиях. Из порта также отправляются ежедневно 25 железнодорожных составов, доставляющих грузы по всей Швеции и в Норвегию.
