    Минимальная сумма страховки моряка должна быть не менее $40 тыс. - РПСМ

    Российский профессиональный союза моряков (РПСМ) считает необходимым установить минимальную сумму страховки моряка не $40 тыс. на судах под удобными флагами и на судах, не имеющих коллективные договоры с профсоюзами, заявил председатель Дальневосточной региональной организации РПСМ Николай Суханов во время посещения теплохода Iman (флаг Того, ИМО 8513390), зашедший в порт Находка (Приморский край) для выгрузки спецтехники и погрузки леса на порты Японии. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба РПСМ.

    В первую очередь представители профсоюза хотели узнать, соблюдает ли судовладелец новые поправки к Конвенции о труде в морском судоходстве, обеспечивающие финансовые гарантии по репатриации и выплате компенсаций, а также нет ли у компании долгов перед моряками.

    «Дело в том, что в период с 2015 по 2016 год экипаж Iman неоднократно обращался за помощью в Российский профсоюз моряков по поводу задержек заработной платы. Узнав, что судно пришло в Находку, мы решили встретиться с моряками и лично убедиться, что они получают деньги вовремя. В этот раз жалоб у экипажа не было, – говорит председатель ДВРО РПСМ Николай Суханов. – При этом стоит отметить, что зарплата капитана составляет $2354, матроса – $785. Для сравнения, на судне «Lucky Star 8» под флагом Палау, которое представители РПСМ недавно посетили в порту Находки, зарплата капитана составляет $6000, матроса – $1500. Согласитесь, разница ощутимая». 

    Капитан теплохода Iman Юрий Хило показал инспекторам РПСМ свидетельства о страховании членов экипажа на случай гибели или получения травмы, только вот назвать конкретную сумму, на которую застрахован каждый из моряков, капитан так и не смог.

    «При проверке страховых документов мы видим разные суммы: от 10 тыс. руб. до $10 тыс. Вот примерно так оценивают жизнь российского моряка на судне под удобным флагом, – говорит Николай Суханов. – Российский профсоюз моряков по-прежнему считает необходимым установить минимальную сумму страховки не меньше $40 тыс. на судах под удобными флагами и на судах, не имеющих коллективные договоры с профсоюзами».

    На борту теплохода Iman также имеется страховое свидетельство на случай репатриации и выплаты компенсаций морякам, соответствующее новым требованиям КТМС. Представители профсоюза напрямую связались со страховой компанией, базирующейся в Лондоне, и ее сотрудники подтвердили подлинность свидетельства. Немаловажно, что страховая компания делает выплаты согласно контрактам и коллективным соглашениям, если таковые имеются.

    «В индивидуальных контрактах не указаны конкретные суммы страховок, и члены экипажа о них ничего не знают. Необходимо заранее, еще при найме уточнять наличие страховки, ее размеры и условия выплат. А чтобы полностью обезопасить себя, морякам стоит вступить в ряды Российского профсоюза моряков, который сможет защитить их права в любой непредвиденной ситуации», – отметил председатель ДВРО РПСМ.
