Russia’s General Board of State Expert Review approves construction of utilities for sea terminal in Pionersky (Kaliningrad region)
Saint-Petersburg branch of Glavgosekspertiza (Russia’s General Board of State Expert Review) has approved the project on construction of utility systems and facilities for the international sea terminal Pionersky in the Kaliningrad Region.
Glavgosekspertiza says its experts acknowledged the compliance of the project documentation and the findings of the engineering survey with technical regulations and other requirements.
The project on construction of an international sea terminal for cruise and passenger vessels at Pionersky of the Kaliningrad Region is being implemented in pursuance of the presidential order by the Ministry of Transport in cooperation with Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot), FSUE Rosmorport and Kaliningrad Region Government in the framework of the Federal Targeted Programme “Development of Russia’s Transport System in 2010-2020”. State customer of the federally owned facilities is Rosmorrechflot, general designer - Morstroytechnology LLC. According to the schedule, the terminal at Pionersky is to be put into operation by the World Cup 2018.
