Zelenodolsk shipyard lays down two high-speed passenger ships of Project А145Е designed by Agat Design Bureau LLC for UAE

On 13 July 2017, Tatarstan based Zelenodolsk Plant named after M. Gorky (AK BARS HOLDING) laid down two high-speed passenger ships of Project А145Е designed by Agat Design Bureau LLC. The shipyard says the vessels were ordered by a customer from the United Arab Emirates.

The A 145 vessels are the comfortable high-speed ships capable of carrying 150 passengers with luggage in the marine coastal area at a speed of 40 knots for a distance of 400 miles unrefueled.

The vessel’s hydrodynamic system developed by Agat Design Bureau LLC allows for a practical combination of high speed, high sea-going qualities and fuel efficiency.

Modern-looking A 145 vessels meet the latest safety regulations and comply with comfort standards.

The contract for construction of two high-speed passenger ships of Project А145Е was signed by Zelenodolsk Plant and UAE customer in 2017 at the IX International Economic Summit “Russia — Islamic World: KazanSummit 2017”.

The shipyard has been building А145 ships from 2010. Two vessels of this project have been operating in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District from 2012.

Tatarstan-based OJSC Zelenodolsk Plant named after M. Gorky, specializes in the construction of warships and passenger high-speed vessels. The enterprise is managed by AK BARS HOLDING.
