    В состав Погрануправления по Сахалинской области войдут два сторожевых катера «Мангуст» (фото)

    На причале порта Невельск в 11:00 (местное время) 14 октября 2017 года пройдет торжественная церемония встречи еще двух пограничных сторожевых катеров «Мангуст», которые поступили на вооружение Пограничного управления (ПУ) ФСБ России по Сахалинской области в рамках развития органов береговой охраны Пограничной Службы ФСБ России. Катера прибыли на остров воздушным транспортом в сентябре 2017 года. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба управления.

    Катера проекта 12150 «Мангуст» спроектированы в ЦМКБ «Алмаз» и построены для пограничников Сахалина на судостроительном заводе «Вымпел» (г. Рыбинск, Ярославская область).

    ПСКА «Мангуст» - серия современных быстроходных глиссирующих катеров прибрежной зоны. Водоизмещение 27,8 тонн. Максимальная скорость хода — 50 узлов. Дальность плавания при наибольшем запасе топлива составляет около 410 миль. Основным вооружением катера является 14,5-мм пулемет КПВТ в составе морской тумбовой пулеметной установки (МПТУ), размещаемой в кормовой части. Установка предназначена для борьбы с надводными, береговыми и воздушными легкобронированными целями. Обеспечивает поражение надводных и береговых целей на дальностях до 2000 м при высоте до 1500 м.

    В составе корабельных сил Пограничного управления ФСБ России по Сахалинской области сторожевые катера будут осуществлять функции по защите и охране государственной границы, территориального моря, исключительной экономической зоны и континентального шельфа Российской Федерации и их природных ресурсов.
