    Fincantieri спустила на воду восьмой многоцелевой фрегат Antonio Marceglia (рис.)

    На верфи группы Fincantieri в Генуе Riva Trigoso состоялась церемония спуска на воду Antonio Marceglia, восьмого корабля в серии из 10 многоцелевых европейских фрегатов проекта FREMM (Frigates European Multi Mission), сообщила пресс-служба Fincantieri.

    Контракт на строительство 10 фрегатов класса FREMM подписан Fincantieri с ВМФ Италии в рамках итало-французской программы сотрудничества при координации OCCAR (Organisation Conjointe de Cooperation sur l’Armement), международной межправительственной организации по сотрудничеству в области закупки вооружений (учреждена по инициативе Франции и Германии в 1996 году).

    После спуска фрегат будет достраиваться и оснащаться на верфи Muggiano (Специя) и затем передан в эксплуатацию в 2019 году. Как и другие корабли этого класса Antonio Marceglia способен выполнять задачи во всех тактических ситуациях, имеет в длину 144 м, 19,7 м в ширину и водоизмещение при полной нагрузке около 6,7 тыс. тонн. Максимальная скорость превышает 27 узлов, экипаж – 200 человек.

    Суда типа FREMM, строятся в рамках программы ЕС и Италии обновления флота ВМФ Италии, для замены фрегатов класса Lupo (выведены из эксплуатации) и Maestrale (срок службы которых уже заканчивается), построенных компанией Fincantieri в 1970-х годах.

    Программа обновления флота была выполнена с передачей следующих фрегатов:  Carlo Bergamini и Virginio Fasan (2013 г.), Carlo Margottini (2014 г.), Carabiniere (2015 г.), Alpino (2016 г.) и Luigi Rizzo (2017 г). В апреле 2015 года программа строительства была дополнена подтверждением опциона на строительство девятого и десятого судна, поставка которых запланирована после 2020 года.

    Orizzonte Sistemi Navali S.p.A (51% Fincantieri, 49% Леонардо) выступает в качестве генерального подрядчика для Италии в инициативе, в то время как Armaris (военно-морской группы + Фалес) - генподрядчик для Франции.

    Сотрудничество оборонных ведомств Италии и Франции было реализовано в рамках программы Orizzonte, по которой для ВМФ Италии было построено два фрегата Andrea Doria и Caio Duilio.

    Fincantieri является одной из крупнейших в мире судостроительных групп, основание которой было положено более чем 200 лет назад. Компания построила свыше 7 тыс. судов. Fincantieri специализируется в строительстве круизных судов, а также строит военно-морские суда, круизные паромы, мега-яхты и специальные суда. Компания выполняет контракты по судоремонту и конверсии морских судов. C 1990 года на верфях группы было построено 80 круизных судов или 57 – с 2002 года. Еще 34 судна находятся в стадии проектирования и строительства на верфях судостроительной группы.
