Liquefied natural gas (LNG) will become the second most popular type of marine fuel by 2050, IAA PortNews correspondent cites DNV representative as saying at the IAPH Baku 2018 World Ports Conference is “Ports of Future: Building Hubs, Accelerating Connectivity”.
According to DNV, other alternatives of oil fuel (methanol, biofuel, etc.) are to account for up to one fourth of the global bunkering market.
