Port of Singapore throughput in 4M’18 grew by 1.1% Y-o-Y to 207.78 million tonnes
Freight traffic at the Port of Singapore in January-February 2018, increased by 1.1% compared to the corresponding period of 2017 to 207.78 million tonnes, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore provisional figures show.
Handling of oil products fell by 6% to 74.08 million tonnes, dry bulk cargo – down 7.2% to 5.66 million tonnes.
Container traffic grew by 18.2% to 5.81 million TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in the South-East Asia. In 2017, the port handled 626.17 million tonnes of cargo.
