    Объем перевозки контейнерных грузов к 2010 году возрастет до 145 миллионов TEU. Как передает корреспондент ИАА “ПортНьюс”, такой прогноз в ходе международной конференции “ТрансРоссия-2007” сделал глава транспортной группы FESCO Евгений Амбросов. По данным FESCO, в 2001 году мировой объем контейнерных перевозок составлял 73 млн. TEU. Амбросов также отметил, что на протяжении последних трех-пяти лет прослеживается устойчивая тенденция роста общемирового объема контейнерных грузов, перевозимых морем, на уровне 7—8% в год. В 2006 году, по данным FESCO, контейнерные перевозки возросли на 10%, до 120 млн. TEU. При этом рост объема перевозок грузов между Азией и Европой в 2006 году составил в среднем 11% в год. По словам Евгения Амбросова, предполагается, что аналогичная тенденция будет сохраняться в ближайшие семь-восемь лет.
