    Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company took part in Posidonia 2018

    25th "Posidonia 2018", one of the world's biggest international shipping exhibitions is held in "Metropolitan Expo Center", in Athens, the capital of Greece.

    This year, the CJSC Caspian Shipping Company, one of the oldest companies of the country, which plans to mark its 160th anniversary, is also represented at the exhibition with its own stand. Along with the information on Caspian Shipping Company, Baku Shipyard, information and videos on the development of shipping in Azerbaijan has been demonstrated.

    One of the unique aspects of the stand is the national corner created here. The corner, decorated with national souvenirs and articles, reflects the history, culture, cuisine of our country. This corner contributed to increase of visitors' interest in the stand of the Shipping Company.

    During the exhibition, the delegation, headed by Rauf Valiyev, the chairman of CJSC Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company, held a number of business meetings in the B2B format, as well as discussions with representatives of influential international shipping companies. During the meetings, the delegation provided detailed information on activities of Caspian Shipping Company, vessel fleets of the Company floating in the Caspian basin and foreign waters.

    It is worth to note that with over 1900 exhibitors from 92 countries (16% more than the number of exhibitors in 2016), the exhibition serves as an powerful business platform held every two years. Institutions associated with shipping, various international companies, classification companies, universities are among those who are represented in the exhibition. Besides, representatives of China, Japan and South Korea, world’s largest ship-building countries also take part in the exhibition.

    Along with the exhibition of products on own stands, companies also take the opportunity to establish business contacts.
