On 26 September 2018, Onezhsky Shipbuilding, Ship Repair Yard (Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia) launched self-propelled hopper Rabochaya, says press center of FSUE Rosmorport.
The ceremony was attended by Grigory Bryulyov, Deputy Director of Rosmorport’s North-Western Basin Branch, as well as the shipyard management and representatives of the industry.
Elena Poyedintseva, representative of Rosmorport’s North-Western Basin Branch, served as the ship’s godmother.
The Rabochaya hopper (Hull No 203) is designed for transportation of dredged material and intended for operation in the basin of the Black, Caspian and Baltic seas.
Key characteristics: Class notation - КМ Iсе1 R3-RSN AUT3 Hopper, LOA – 67.1 m, BOA – 11.4 m, hold capacity – 916 cbm, endurance – 5 days.

Onezhsky Shipbuilding, Ship Repair Yard (Onega Shipyard) was founded in 2002 on the basis of shiprepair facilities of the Belomorsky-Onezhsky Shipping Company, formed in 1944. In 2011, after the enterprise management dismissal the production stopped, and the company went bankrupt. In late 2014 the enterprise was transferred to the state ownership and resumed its shipbuilding / repair activity.
