    Damen назначила директора по продажам нового подразделения по проектированию и строительству RoPax судов

    Damen Shipyards Group назначила Кьель де Лэйу на вновь созданную должность директора по продажам подразделения по строительству крупных грузопассажирских паромов (RoPax). Создание нового подразделения, как говорится в сообщении судостроительной группы является важным шагом в стратегии группы по развитию проектирования и строительства более крупных, специализированных судов для шельфового, круизного и RoPax сегментов.

    На этом посту Кьель де Лэйу будет отвечать за создание нового направления деятельности на рынке строительства судов для перевозки накатных грузов (RoRo) и грузопассажирских паромов (RoPax) длиной более 120 м.

    По мнению экспертов группы Damen, сейчас самое подходящее время для продвижения на более крупном рынке судов типа RoRo и RoPax. Анализ, проведенный отделом развития бизнеса, показал перспективы увеличение спроса на суда такого размера и типа в ближайшие 5-10 лет, учитывая рыночные циклы и ужесточение международного законодательства по выбросам с судов, которые вынуждают судовладельцев рассматривать различные решения - как модернизацию, так и строительство новых судов для соответствия этим нормам.

    Собственное инженерно-конструкторское бюро DAMEN способно самостоятельно разрабатывать суда в соответствии с правилами индекса энергоэффективности проекта судна, безопасного возвращения в порт. В своей работе директор нового подразделения будет опираться на компанию KNUD E. HANSEN (входит в группу Damen), которая имеет многолетний опыт проектирования таких судов длиной до 200 м и более. Послужной список этой компании включает проектирование круизных судов и сделанных по заказу крупных судов для морского нефтегазового и энергетического сектора.

    При создании паромных судов такого размера Кьель де Лэйу, помимо инженерных и технических возможностей, будет опираться на недавно приобретенные активы, в частности, купленный в Румынии судостроительный завод в Мангалия (Damen Shipyards Mangalia). Теперь это крупнейшая верфь в составе группы, которая имеет сухие доки шириной до 60 м и производственные площади на территории в 1 млн кв. м. Завод имеет ресурсы и инфраструктуру для реализации проектов строительства самых крупных и сложных судов.

    По словам Кьеля де Лэйу, компания DAMEN «всегда была активна на рынке RoPax судов. У нас есть опыт создания больших паромов, например, 130-метровый маршрутный паром прибрежного плавания Dokter Wagemaker, спроектированный для Тесо, и недавно созданные два 80-метровых RoPax парома проекта DAMEN 8017 и переданные правительству провинции Ньюфаундленд (Канада) на атлантическом побережье».

    «Сейчас на румынской верфи в Галаце (Damen Shipyards Galati) строятся два 81-метровых паромных судна проекта DAMEN Ferry 8117 для оператора BC Ferries (Британская Колумбия, Канада). Суда будут переданы заказчику в 2020 году. Кроме того, строятся еще два парома с полностью электрической движительной установкой (серии Road Ferry 6819 и Road Ferry 9819) длиной 68 и 98 метров, соответственно для эксплуатации в акватории Канады и на Великих озерах», -  сообщил Кьель де Лэйу.

    Нидерландская компания DAMEN создана в 1927 году. В настоящее время международная судостроительная группа Damen Shipyards Group (головной офис - г. Горинхем) объединяет 34 судостроительных и судоремонтных верфей по всему миру. Общая численность персонала составляет 10 тыс. человек (3,5 тыс. - в Нидерландах). На сегодняшний день на верфях группы построено более 6 тыс. судов и ежегодно передается в эксплуатацию около 160 новых судов в 100 странах мира. DAMEN специализируется на строительстве буксиров, катеров, патрульных судов, высокоскоростных судов, грузовых судов, земснарядов, судов для обслуживания морских платформ, судов ЛАРН, фрегатов и мега-яхт. Годовой оборот группы (на 2017 год) достигает 2 млрд евро.
