Port of Singapore throughput in 11M’18 grew by 0.4% Y-o-Y to 575.44 million tonnes
Freight traffic at the Port of Singapore in January-November 2018, edged up 0.4% on the same period a year before, to 575.44 million tonnes, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore provisional figures show.
Eleven-month volume of oil cargo and non-oil bulk cargo declined by 5.3% and 8.2%, respectively, to 201.6 million and 15.31 million tonnes million tonnes.
Container traffic grew by 9% to 33.47 million TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in Southeast Asia. In 2017, the port handled 626.17 million tonnes of cargo.
