    На верфи Fincantieri в Анконе спущено на воду круизное судно Seven Seas Splendor

    На судостроительном заводе Ancona (входит в группу Fincantieri) 9 февраля 2019 года спущено на воду строящееся судно Seven Seas Splendor. Судно является вторым лайнером в серии круизных судов класса «super luxury», которые строятся Fincantieri для оператора Regent Seven Seas Cruises, бренда крупнейшей группы Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd (NCLH). Поставка запланирована на 2020 год, говорится в сообщении итальянский судостроительной компании.

    Как и первое судно этого проекта Seven Seas Explorer, переданное Fincantieri заказчику на судостроительном заводе в Сестри Поненте (Генуя) в 2016 году, Seven Seas Splendor имеет валовую вместимость 55 тыс. тонн и пассажировместимость до 750 человек.

    Заказ от NCLH на строительство третьего судна данного класса, которое будет поставлено в 2023 году, Fincantieri получила в январе 2018 года.

    Fincantieri является одной из крупнейших в мире судостроительных групп, основание которой было положено более чем 200 лет назад. Компания построила свыше 7 тыс. судов. Fincantieri специализируется в строительстве круизных судов, а также принимает заказы на военно-морские суда, круизные паромы, мега-яхты и специальные суда. Также, верфи группы выполняют контракты по судоремонту и конверсии морских судов. C 1990 года Fincantieri построила 88 круизных судов (65 – с 2002 года) и в стадии проектирования и строительства находятся еще 55 судов. Всего Fincantieri имеет 20 верфей на 4 континентах с числом сотрудников около 19 тыс. человек, а также дочерние компании в Италии, Норвегии, Монако, Швеции, Польше, Китае, Индии, Бахрейне, ОАЭ, Сингапуре, Японии, США, Канаде, Бразилии и Австралии. В портфеле заказов группы – 106 различных судов.
