Okskaya Sudoverf lays down seventh dry cargo carrier of Project RSD32M
On 15 February 2019, Okskaya Sudoverf (a company of UCL Holding) laid down the seventh dry cargo carrier of Project RSD32M in a series of eight ships ordered by STLC and Navis, the shipbuilding company says in a press release.
RSD32M ships designed by Marine Engineering Bureau are intended for transportation of general and dry bulk cargo (including grain), bundled sawn timber, round timber, metal scrap, bundled and coiled metal, heavy and oversized cargo, coal, hazardous cargo of class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.1, 8, 9 and category “B”.
The shipbuilding contract was signed on 30 November 2017.
