    Голландская компания Herman Sr заказала у Damen свой первый буксир проекта Damen Shoalbuster 3514 SD DP2

    удостроительный завод Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld (DSHa, Хардинксвельд, Нидерланды) и голландский поставщик морских услуг Herman Senior BV (Herman Sr.) подписали контракт на строительство буксирного судна проекта Shoalbuster 3514 SD DP2, говорится в сообщении группы Damen Shipyards. Контракт был подписан 25 января 2019 года.

    Отмечается, что дизель-электрический буксир с низкой осадкой, оборудованный системой позиционирования DP2, будет для Herman Sr. первым судном нового класса Shoalbuster 3414 и самым крупным и технологичным в составе флота буксиров от Damen. Двигатели буксира отвечают стандартам IMO Tier 3.

    Судно, которое получит имя Brutus, планируется передать заказчику к I полугодию 2020 года.

    Буксир неограниченного плавания проекта Shoalbuster 3514 имеет в длину 35 м и почти 14 м в ширину. Площадь свободной палубы составляет 150 кв. м. При осадке 2,70 м при полностью заполненных топливных баках (и 2,40 м – при 50% заполненности) буксир сможет заходить в воды, доступ к которым закрыт для других судов аналогичного размера. На буксире установлено четыре двигателя Caterpillar C32 ACERT общей эффективной мощностью (в кВт) 3876 bKW (5280 л. с.), четыре направляющих насадки 1900 мм.

    Мощность буксира с тяговым усилием в 60 тонн позволит судну эффективно выполнять буксировочные, швартовные операции, а также целый ряд других задач: траление, поддержка операций с подводными управляемыми аппаратами при исследовании подводных объектов, укладка опорных плит, удаление взрывоопасных предметов, обеспечение дноуглубительных работ, буксировка в открытом море и снабжение буровых платформ. Судно также может устанавливать и обрабатывать якоря буровых оснований.

    На судне с 12 каютами могут разместиться 6-7 членов экипажа и дополнительно 13-14 человек персонала.

    По словам управляющего директора Herman Sr. BV Джека Ван Додеваарда, компания намерена использовать свой новый буксир Shoalbuster 3514 для поддержки и обслуживания ветрогенераторов на территории морских ветряных электростанций, где мелкая осадка судна позволит ему работать как вблизи берега, так и на шельфе. Система DP-2, включающая вспомогательные двигатели, обеспечит точность позиционирования судна в открытом море, а также в непосредственной близости от ветротурбин и других конструкций. Наличие открытой кормовой части позволит судну участвовать в работах по прокладке кабеля. С помощью кормового шарнирно-сочлененного крана можно обрабатывать различные грузы и оборудование.

    В октябре 2018 года компания разместила на верфи в Хардинксвельде заказ на поставку третьего буксира серии 2308 (Teddy), который стал десятым контрактом, заключенным между Herman Sr. BV и Damen.
